Choose your destination

Keep departure areas in mind. Waikiki Beach is not West Oahu, and Destin Harbor is not Sandestin’s Baytowne Marina.

02

Compare what is included

One cocktail is not an open bar. Appetizers are not dinner. Our tour cards make those distinctions visible.

Should I choose Oahu or Maui for a sunset cruise?

Start with the island on your itinerary. Our Oahu selection includes Waikiki beach sailing, a BYOB option, a dinner show and a West Oahu departure. The Maui selection compares Kaʻanapali beach boarding with several Maʻalaea Harbor options, including both dinner and appetizer cruises.

Which California and South Carolina destinations are covered?

The California collection compares two explicit sunset products in San Francisco and five options in San Diego. Charleston adds three different harbor experiences in South Carolina: scenic cruising, narrated history and a dinner cruise whose sunset timing needs checking for the chosen date.

Which Northeast destinations are covered?

The Northeast collection includes New York City, Boston and Newport, Rhode Island. Compare yachts, schooner sails and narrated harbor cruises. Newport’s earlier Golden Hour cruise is marked as a pre-sunset alternative rather than an identical sunset departure.

Which Florida destinations are covered?

The Florida collection now covers Key West, Clearwater, Destin, Panama City Beach, Miami and St. Augustine. Compare sailing, dolphin watching, private boats and skyline evenings. The St. Augustine wine cruise is clearly labeled as a seasonal-sunset alternative.

Does a sunset cruise always include dinner?

No. Some of the selected tours offer appetizers, some include cocktails, and the dinner cruises describe a full meal. Read the food and drinks column rather than assuming every evening cruise is a dinner cruise.

Can I book directly on this website?

SunsetCruise.net helps you compare options. The availability buttons take you to Viator to choose a date, check the final details and complete your booking. We do not process payments or display live availability here.

Are the prices and review ratings live?

No. The displayed starting prices and combined Viator and Tripadvisor review ratings come from the September 25, 2026 data snapshot. Check Viator for current prices, availability and booking terms.

How are the featured cruises selected?

We selected 72 experiences across 17 destinations from the supplied Viator inventory, including clearly labeled pre-sunset, seasonal-sunset and date-specific evening alternatives. Each destination has two to five selections; we do not add daytime tours just to make a longer list. We aim for useful differences in departure area, format and inclusions. These are editorial comparisons, not an exhaustive list, an official ranking or a claim of firsthand testing.
